The portal stands out in its façade, having a round arch with beveled radiating voussoirs, like the ashlars of the window which is over it. Inside the building there's a columnated courtyard.

It seems that the family Paredes in Cáceres was really the family Delgadillo, whose manor house was in Valladolid. Some of them had gone to the town of Paredes de Nava, which is why they were known as those from Paredes, although their family was Delgadillo, whose arms were a escutcheon in azure with seven white stars.
