Mansion of Duran de la Rocha

Its façade lays out from the axis of the main entrance, on the left side, around of which there are four carved coats of arms. The two on the same level than the window are the oldest of the house: the left one showing arms of Rocha and Durán, the right one showing those of Torres y Nidos. This last one represents the majorat of Juan de Torres and Mencía de los Nidos, not the Chilean heroine, but her aunt. The other two ones are arranged on the vertical axe of the window: the one above is party per cross (divided into four quarters) showing the arms of Toro, Golfín, Mogollón and Herrera, is framed by a small alfiz, and the one below is a coat of arms of Toro held by human supporters. Finally, another coat of arms of Durán (much newer than the others) appears over a balcony on the right side, being almost covered in vegetation.

Inside the house there's a small courtyard having graceful paintings of lions in sgraffito (referring to the arms of Durán) as well as a couple of busts. The mansion currently houses an english style tavern.
