House of the Horses is a strong building from 16th century that worked both as a stable as a supply building for the Palace of Weathervanes, which is reached by an elevated walkway over the street between them.

House of the Horses. Museum of Caceres

It's a three-floor rectangular building with rubble masonry walls, simple façade with round arched portal over which there's a balcony. Inside it are remarkable the brickwork groin vaults in basement and ground floor rooms. It was refurbished in 18th century by Jorge de Cáceres y Quiñónez.

Currently, the House of Horses houses the section of Fine Arts of the Museum of Cáceres.
