Foro de los Balbos (Balbos' Forum)

It's the place between Tower of Hornos and Tower of Hierba, under a rebuilt part of the city wall, which was before a market where the Arab wall was demolished.

Nowadays we can find there a copy of a Roman statue, possibly the tutelary genius of the old Roman colony Norba Caesarina, known as Goddess Ceres. Also we can find a watering trough which was moved there from its original location on the lane to the Monastry of St Francis, having coats of arms of both the Catholics Kings as the city of Cáceres.
