Provincial Council Head Office (Diputación Provincial)

A part of this building stands over the plot before occupied by the monastery of Santa María de Jesús, belonging to the order Jerónima, which disappeared after the Ecclesiastical Confiscations in 1835. Another part of the House was owned by a branch of the family Ulloa.

There are three coats of arms of Galarza on the façade, which, along with the portal, come from the Old Seminary. This portal has a triangular pediment, containing an image of the Virgin in its tympanum and two coats of Galarza with galero (a large, broad-brimmed tasseled hat worn by clergy) on both flanks.

There's another astonishing coat of arms of Galarza just on the corner of the building.
