Aldana's Mansion

Aldana's Mansion has a Gothic façade from 15th century, in which remains a beautiful granite mullioned window, broken in one of the many reforms that the mansion underwent.

A white marble coat of arms of Aldana's family (five fleur-de-lys in x-shaped arrangement) stands out over a diagonal grille window.

The first one of the Aldana's family in Cáceres was Rodrigo Álvarez de Aldana, mayor of the town, married to Inés Fernández de la Cámara, Lady of the Manor of Lagartera.
